Burquitlam Plaza's Reviews and comments
Old school Coquitlam strip mall with a SkyTrain attached.
Has a handful of convenient stores and a couple vacant suites from time to time. Parking gets busy during work hours. Huge construction project in the back.
Can't park here overnight but I've never seen someone get towed.
All the essential stores are here. Grocery store, drug store, dollar store, bank, etc.
It’s kind of sad to see the value Village had left Burquitlam plaza but in place of that the big box outlet is there and that is a bonus for New Westminster and Coquitlam
and across the the way their is a new bakery that is open right across from Safeway This might be an old Plaza but it’s got a lot of things that you need and the great thing parking is free is always available you can do your grocery shopping and you can go to your outlet shoppers drug Mart and then leave your car in the parking lot walk across the street to the bakery coffee and a pastry I hope they never get rid of this plaza
Amazing new growth in this area as the new rapid elevated transit has a station here. Amazing! There are several new tower buildings close by. One of them is easily 50 plus stories. Wow! There is a nice new shiny Safeway. I went there primarily to check out the " Big box store". I was quite disappointed in this storefront as the on site did not match up to the web description. However, this area has much potential but is still in the growth stage.
Great comfort to see so many places fitted in one small strip mall
No value villahe there anymore. Its a bigbox
It is good place to get everything including clothes, sweets, groceries, food and many more
There are Shoppers, dollarama, Shiraz maeket, bigbox outlet, ups, shish kebab, etc
good place to shop some pesian food and goods
Cool little strip mall got a dollar store, shopper drug mart (a small old one) vape store, donair shop, CIBC, and there's more. It was cooler when they had a value village but they do got like this super Safeway and it's pretty effing sweet. It's even got a liquor store GOVERNMENT PRICING!!!!! Not to mention it shares the parking lot with the sky train.
Best and Safe New Living Town easy outreach highway to any cities
Visited a store here. Sufficient parking is always a plus for me. This plaza had that
It makes me sad that this place will be gone one day soon, used to be an awsome little shopping centre with its 1950's charm. Sadly regentrification of the area is going to be the end of it.
It's a very basic plaza that has essential things, a new departmental store has opened up recently & it's very very reasonable in price
I've seen this place evolve from a residential area to a booming suburban environment. The advancement is nice, although the design is a bit messy.
The SkyTrain station is a tremendous asset, but again, the design is sloppy with you needing to walk all the way around the station to enter.
I love that there are so many stores and eateries here. It's very convenient. Not to mention Safeway (EXTRAAAA) beside it.
The value village just sucks though. Don't go there. The pho and the dollar store is a good place to check out.
A few places I go to there. Most I don't.
This is a good plaza, with the basics one needs from car insurance to groceries. Plenty of parking.
Good area with small shops
Everything I was looking for was found there easily! Lot's of parking and not too busy!
A few businesses in this plaza that you might be interested in
Took the Sky train here for something different rather than from Coquitlam Station. Wanted to get a new Vape Street but the 156 bus was voming to soon so that sucked. I'll comment on Vape Street soon if it pops up.
Some good markets and restaurants around for Iranians.
Meh what can I say.... "it's a plaza" lol
Great shopping experience. Quite convenient. Lots of parking.
Plenty of parking. Close to the skytrain and lots of small business too. It's still on the developing stage so there still lots of construction going on in the area.
Very standard strip mall without much of amenity expected for a shopping mall. Fresh air though, something we all need during COVID. Walking distance to skytrain station and major bus loop. Has a Shoppers Drug Mart plus Canada Post within, neighbouring McDonalds and a Safeway.
There is safeway and dollarama here. My 2 fav shops LOL
Meh, nothing to really review, it's an unremarkable shopping centre that exists solely because of it's location. Nothing wrong with it though.
place looks a bit run down but the stores that remain are super handy to have in the area
Shopped at Value Village here. Bought 4 beautiful dinning room chairs for a total of $55. Solid wood, and all I have to do is reupholster the seats. Great find!!
Still same old.
Very good location.
Great plaza, lots of parking, needs more stores though.
This place was okay because it is run down and the stores here seem temporary since there are so many new buildings going up. I can see moving forward that this entire mall will be knocked down and large apartments buildings and shops will one day make this place something really great.
My favorite local stores
Food is gonna taste the same with all the dairy queens but what separates this DQ from the rest is the staff. The staff were very kind and would start some small talk.
Easy in Easy Out little strip mall
Its a small plaza, but its convenient because its right where he sky train station is.
Has all your needs, CIBC, Value Village, Shoppers Drug Mart , Bosley Pet Supplies, Dollar Store , Auto Insurance , Barber Shop , Fresh Vegetables Store
The strip mall is a little sad. More and more shops are closing down. The area has been zoned and planned for redevelopment
Burquitlam Plaza is handy, if only for the fact that its located directly below the Skytrain Stn of the same name. The buses in this area tend to run infrequently at the best of times, so Im sure that the local businesses benefit from those lapses.
Very sadly, the super popular Burquitlam Value Village location just closed permanently...literally overnight (I work graves, and this is my local train station, so I watched it happen). Remaining in the plaza though, are a Shoppers, CIBC bank, a fruit n veg shop, a hair salon, Dollarama, liquor store, and a higher priced, slightly bourgeois Safeway. i may have missed a few shops, sorry. Essentially, Burquitlam Plaza is handy, but (with the loss of V.V.) not a destination plaza
It isnt well maintained, but its handy in a pinch.
nice stores
All in one shopping
Too many bumps
Not easy packing
Nice cozy plaza with a few nice Japanese and Chinese restaurants. The only family coffeeshop there gives you the feeling you are having a warm tasty coffee and tea at home. Highly recommended!
Under development. Hard to figure out parking lot entrance / exit and pathways.
Amazing service store
Has most amenities and right at the SkyTrain. Area getting a facelift with new buildings and more residential towers.
Clean well maintained nice place lots of stores beside a royal bank
Dollerstore ia amazing best one I have been too.
Dollar store, Bosleys, and safeway all walking distance to each other.
Alot more organized and spacious since reopening.the staff were friendly and at one point made me laugh
Its a strip mall, looks like designed in the 70s. This rating will self destruct as it will be developed pretty soon im sure.
Old time strip plaza. Has a Dollarama and Bosleys Pet Supply. Safeway store north end of plaza with separate parking.
It's OK. Needs a face lift and a couple of anchor stores.
Hard to find the way in
Lots of shops and parking space.
I like this plaza but the parking lot has too many potholes.
Fewer food options, lots of parking spots
Most of essential stores, grocery, and services. Near skytrain station.
Great little plaza with a decent assortment of stores.
Good place to find all sorts of stuff
Good and new shopping mall. Some stores haven’t opened yet. There is a fresh products market, H&M, McDonald’s, Wallmart, Shoppers (a really huge one) and some other stores.
I've been patronizing the Plaza for my entire 47 years, and was a bit sad when contemplating the changes when the Skytrain Station was being constructed, but the end result is lovely, while retaining the original, "feel," of the location.
Access for pedestrians, wheelchairs, and drivers alike is great, there's a nice selection of stores and services on offer. A really easygoing, upbeat ambiance :)
Nice shopping center
Lost of different stores, major construction happening in and around this plaza. Call ahead to make sure store is open before you head there
It's okay. Lots of turnover lately here as (I suspect) businesses are expecting the whole place to get renovated soon. The Salvation Army and the dollar store are our most frequented visits here.
Couple stores available with a nice and new building located beside. Safeway is located at next door. No public restrooms available, but will be available at the top level of Safeway or individual stores. Skytrain station is in the front. Free parking lot available.
Good
CIBC Bank and ATM machines
Surprised, there has transit bus....thx translink/CMBC 👍👍
Everything I need
Just really like this Value Village.Always find my treasures thatI don't really need at great prices.Keep up the good work.
Parking lot is difficult to get in and out of!
I went to Value Village & Dollarama.
It's fine.
The dollar store is very clean with hand sanitizer available to use at
the door. It had what I wanted
One stop shopping from Safeway- Dollarama- Value Village. One of my favourite Value Village stores for sure. Check the back dumpsters for free overstock. A treasure hunt goldmine undoubtedly
It was ok not the neatest or organized VV I've ever been to. Also the store is very small and claustrophobic. Hard to get around with a cart.
Shiraz Market, fresh meat and good pricing. Friendly and helpful
Very sorry to see the Value Village gone...was a patron since its opening.
Love this area, it has everything I need and is really close to the burquitlam skytrain station.
I mean it does what it needs to do...
Your every shopping need met here
Great vitamin plus store with knowledgeable staff. Good dollar store as well. Too bad they tore down some of the shops, loved the gift and card shop that used to be there. Would say the plaza is in transition with the evergreen line, new highrises and finally a new Safeway!
Needs upgrading.
It's ok was just in the back paving they got different stores nothing to great to see so yah check it out if u like
Got all my shopping done
Love Bosleys, dollar store, shopper drug mart!
Older shopping district, always gives me a feel of being dated. Could be up dated or given face lift.
The only good thing here is value village.
