Awesome food, awesome service and the Manhattan was on point! Erica was a great server! If you haven't eaten here? Go eat here. The ribs will are incredible! Steak is always done to perfection (medium rare always ends up medium well 🙄) and homemade soups n sauces on everything. Highly recommend!

Was absolute perfection I got the Longhorn Steak with rice and vegetables. It was so good I said to my gf that if I had to choose a last meal that would be it. Absolutely amazing. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Great meal by far. FANTASTIC will definitely highly recommend.

I went to the Heights today for Le Burger Week to try the Achy Brekky Heart and it was SPECTACULAR. The Apple Fritter bun worked so well, adding some amazingly unique flavour. The service is always top notch - I've never had anything but a great time there, and look forward to my next visit. A wonderful family-owned Winnipeg institution!

I have been going here for years and the food has always stayed consistently good. The wings are the best in town especially the double dipped. I have never had a bad experience here with any of the staff or other patrons. When I go sit in the lounge the staff are always so friendly, fast and attentive. The owners take the time to personally come around and ask how everything is and to just chat and see how you are. They treat their regulars like friends not like customers and that, along with the amazing food is what keeps me coming back. If you are looking for a full dinner, or even just a quick lounge snack this place has it all and more.

Our family LOVES The Heights! The food is always amazing and the staff are always so wonderful and cheerful! The atmosphere is the best! Its so cozy and inviting! Especially during jets games or other sporting events! They go out of their way to give their customers a great experience all around. Food is so good, portions are generous and its so affordable. The heights will always be our go to!

We ordered our favourite ribs for dinner on Thursday. Silver Height has the best ribs in the city, in our opinion. We also ordered the shrimp and scallop marguerita appetizer (yummy!) and the chocolate brownie for dessert. As usual, everything was great! And ready for pick-up right when they said it would be. This is a great family-run restaurant and a St. James icon. All the love, Toni and company.

The Heights has been a family favourite of ours for many generations! It’s like The Cheers of St.James! The ribs they serve are dynamite. No fork and knife needed. Well I was disappointed with my order. Their version of a beef dip. Beef was chewy and grisly. I did not complain which I would of. But I was hungry. The server was not very attentive. Plus she was going to take my plate without asking if I was done. I told her I wasn't done. As a server myself, I would always ask before removing a plate. I love this place. I really thought the beef would be excellent. My salad was very good. I will return....

Great atmosphere! You know you’re always going to be taken care of by the staff! And do yourself a favour and try the Caesar! Great stop for wings and a beer! Known for their ribs but the prime rib is amazing too! …yes, I’ve had a few meals here.

Went here for the first time. It was our 33rd Wedding Anniversary and wanted to support local when we dined out. So glad we chose this place. The atmosphere was fantastic and so was the food. I had the millionaire steak and lobster and was not disappointed. Will absolutely be going back.

Love this restaurant. It’s a shame it’s being targeted by anti-maskers who review it solely on the reality they can’t get in because they don’t meet the required legal provincial mandates. It’s like kids wanting to take their ball and go home! Food is good, staff wonderful, and service is great. Definitely recommend!

This is a cherished neighbourhood establishment with something for everyone. Fine dining and a casual vibe in the lounge and the ability to host private parties. Their ribs are my favourite. And you can always find friendly employees and customers in the lounge. (Poor reviews based on following health mandates are not helpful. Small businesses are struggling and now is the time to support them.)

Silver Heights has some of the B E S T ribs in this city! Really appreciate the staff working through rough times. Dining in made me feel safe as they are following MANDATED orders. Could not recommend this restaurant enough if you are in the area!

Silver Heights is a local treasure. My wife and I have dined there often. Their ribs are awesome, some of the best in the city. Service is always great, and it's reassuring to me that they've always taken health and safety during covid very seriously. The owners have supported the neighborhood of St James for years and deserve support back during this tough time for restaurants.

Have gotten take out from here twice, and it has been some of the best food that we have got for pickup off of skip the dishes out of the many restaurants we have tried. It's unfortunate that they are receiving many poor reviews for simply following covid protocols. The low ratings for this restaurant on various apps don't reflect the actual quality of the food. So keep that in mind if you are thrown off by the rating. Great restaurant, and hopefully people stop trying to bomb the ratings. Cheers!

Great food, good pricing, nice atmosphere for families. The lounge is also fun if you are without kids. Had the pickerel topped with scallops and prawns. Excellent! Great job Tony and staff.

This family owned establishment has been our favourite Winnipeg location to enjoy food and drink with friends since I first enjoyed the ambiance of the place with Military friends circa 1980. There is a reason they have been a Winnipeg landmark for over 60 years. Staff are number 1. Outstanding efforts to provide service to the community despite the imposed COVID restrictions.

The nicest people who serve amazing food. Always have, always will and are known as a cornerstone to the st James restaurant industry. If you’re hear to whine about public health orders and score them low for following them, do yourself a favour and eat at home. No restaurant is willing to take on a $5000 to accommodate your feelings towards an uncontrollable regulation that needs to be followed in order for them to operate.

We visited to try the caeser with the rib on it for the Motts Clamato contest and it was the best caeser we have ever had! I would go back just for that. The rib alone was cooked to perfection! The food was not as great as expected, the actual rack of ribs didn't have much flavor, the BBQ sauce was sour and watery, the veggies and cheese sauce had no flavor at all. The appetizers were pretty good and the service was amazing. I would definitely go back for drinks and appys.
