The location adds up to whatever experience you have in Uli’s. In summer, in patio, overlooking the ocean, classic cars passing by, and weather all create a unique day. At weekends, you might have parking problem, but there is one beside the restaurant (Martin st.). The servers are really friendly and considerate. They recommend trying burgers as one of the best, so either do I. 🥯 The brunch is really good and I recommend Uli’s breakfast. Your only bread option is Rye which is good, but sourdough would be good if they had. 🍔 The burgers are also good choices and their dishes of burgers are almost similar in shape. 🍱 The corned beef hash has its own sauce and different taste which is a decent option to try. ☕️ The coffee tasted like average, but it works beside your breakfast or brunch. If you go there in summer, which is hot and the sun shines really strong, go for a splash pad on the other side and enjoy its super cool water beforehand, otherwise, sitting in patio under the table shade could be intolerable. Go for it and enjooooooy!

Huge serving, really delicious dishes and outstanding service. Although our orders are not shareable, I tasted each of our orders and each dish has its distinct flavor so there's no favorite 🙂 We truly enjoyed each dish that we had: paella, Burger 5.0, steak frites, UFC; burrata with crustini and calamari as starters. It's my niece's birthday, it's so generous of them to serve a complimentary dessert called Financier cake with vanilla ice cream. Dean, our server on that night is really commendable. Uli’s is by far one of my favourite restaurants along Marine Drive in White Rock. The star of the show - their cheesecake. This is, without a doubt, the best cheesecake you can get in South Surrey/White Rock (and believe me, I’ve tried almost every piece in this area.) they constantly cycle the flavour and I’ve tried three so far - the chocolate being my favourite. Their burgers are also very good. Pictured is their #2 Burger. Go get their cheesecake. Seriously.

Great food and service. Patio tables are tight but offer a great view of the water, wharf and general good vibes if you’re into the people watching thing. Lunch schnitzel is a must have here…the mushroom one! Going to try the burgers out next time!

Delicious schnitzel/spaetzle! Nice and crispy. The grilled romaine Caesar was 10/10. All the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to return!

Excellent food and service. The view is stunning as well. Haven’t had their famous burgers yet because always end up going for breakfast, but the Benny and the chowder are unreal. Chowder especially is probably my favourite item on the menu even for breakfast. It is the best chowder I have had around town! Highly recommend if your looking for a wonderful view with good food and happy servers.

Beautiful patio with a great ocean view. Food is very delicious and a bit on the high side but you are in White Rock so that's expected. Would give it 4 to 5 stars if it wasn't for that little rat we noticed wandering around the patio..... 😒

Uli's is a highly recommended restaurant that we had to try. So we decided to check out their brunch and it was TO DIE FOR. We ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, coffee, and caesars. The waitress was so sweet and kind. We had a great experience and the food was soooo good. Can't wait to come back for dinner.

We booked via open table in the busy summer and had a great seat on the strip. This place never fails me, great wine, great service and the best burgers ever. Must try and if it’s busy it’s worth the wait.

Soup was awesome. Maybe the best I ever had. Fish and chips - very very good. Sad what they try to pass for ketchup tho. It's like a paste or watery sauce. Otherwise a 5 star experience.

Stopped in for a late dinner with the family tonight. Can’t believe I haven’t been here before. The food was incredible (burger was one of the best of my life) and the service was outstanding! The décor was welcoming and cozy and they have a great heated patio that we’ll have to try next time. Can’t wait to go back!

The food is always SO GOOD. I don't think I've ever came here and got bad food or service! Try their shoe string fries seriously 10/10, bohemian salad, the Rockefeller oyster (baked oyster) .. and basically everything else is a must try! You will not be disappointed by anything on their menu. (At least i wasn't) they also have a patio overlooking the pier which is perfect for a sunny day. I have yet to try their dessert but the pictures look awesome! Can't wait to come back here again

Appetizer was fine. Unfortunately wasnt hungry for full meal. Appreciate the server who steered me away from à certain appetizer. Beautiful view. Menu sélections were very nice and the wine was very good. Definitely recommend.

There is no mistaking Uli's for a chain steakhouse. A first time visitor might be forgiven for thinking it was a pub because of the eclectic decor and the unpretentious service. One bite from Uli's "everything made from scratch" menu, however, and you know you've discovered a place that's committed to good food.

Okay way beyond 5 star wonderful experience received right from the introduction all the way through by all staff and management. Being a pet friendly patio makes a huge difference and we realize staff has keep close attention to detail to maintain professional balance with all the other guests which they do an excellent job at. Both Hailey and Dean looked after us and made sure that our dining experience was very memorable and pleasant. We will definitely return along with telling friends and family about this beautiful restaurant.

Ulis is special because they treat their customers so well! We have been for Oktoberfest three or four years running now - all of our friends agree its the best time out! It's our favorite place in the lower mainland for a bloody good time out.

Made reservations on open table. One of the few restaurants that open at 11. Sat on the heated outdoor patio with gorgeous view. Food was great, we had the oyster Rockefeller, buffalo carpaccio and the oysters and mussels. Service and ambience was perfect. It was overall a very pleasant experience

Uli's is not only the best restaurant in White Rock, it's one of the best restaurants in all of Greater Vancouver. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic they have offered an exceptional takeout menu which includes many of their signature dishes and award winning burgers along with beer, wine, jars of their house made salad dressing, and some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The food photos I've added are takeout photos, Uli's plating skills are MUCH better than mine.

Uli's fried chicken was great and all the drinks we tried were also fantastic. My only issue was we got sat next to a very loud person and her dog Rosè which I didn't realize dogs were allowed in restaurants. Would have been a nicer experience without the dog yelping next to our table and in a quiet environment. After awhile they were moved to another table and the experience was much better and more calm.. Service was great.

We sat in the soon to disappear streetside patio space. The service was very friendly and efficient and the food was top notch, particularly the Gnocchi of the day which had a delicious wild mushroom and bacon sauce. The kids declared that the Fish & Chips was the best they've had. The cocktails likewise were very good. A little pricey but in line with other places in the area, plus they buy from local sources so it's worth every penny.

So I finally made it out to Uli’s, and made resos on a Wednesday afternoon for 6. Service was super friendly from start to finish! They gave us the option of inside or outside and we chose inside as it was empty except for 1 other party across the other end of the restaurant. The interior is bright and we sat by the window, with no obstructed view of the water. Their beer and wine selection is plentiful. We chose to with the German Erdinger Weissbier, a nice refreshing wheat beer that was so tasty I didn’t want to share and ordered my own 😁. Our server poured it out for us in a tall glass perfectly. My kids got the kids menu burgers and frites but one with the house salad with Caesar dressing. They loved it! I tried the salad and the dressing was delicious! My hubby and I shared the beef dip with frites and a 2.0 burger with the seafood chowder . The beef dip was pretty good, but I only got rare hints of blue cheese with the half that I ate. The jus was really good! The chowder was very generously loaded with seafood and not too heavy. Frites were very crispy and they were generous with the amount! Now I was beyond excited for the burger because it had been recommended by so many and I was really pleasantly surprised that no one had mentioned to me that they didn’t cook them well done! I love medium cooked burgers and all of ours were cooked to perfection. It was definitely a messy, sauce dripping down your elbows burger! They did miss added bacon on my MIL’s 9.0 burger but rectified it very quickly. She got half frites, half Caesar and the Caesar was a full leafed Romaine with delicious looking large capers (she doesn’t like capers though) and generously topped with parm. She is a tough critic with burgers but thoroughly enjoyed hers! It was on the pricey side, but I love that they are a restaurant that prides themselves on farm-to-table, sourcing local beef and ingredients which doesn’t go unnoticed in the quality of the dishes! Our server was very passionate about how they cook their burgers and it was evident that he enjoyed working there. I’ll be back to try out another burger that I won’t be sharing next time, their brunch menu looked amazing, that beautiful view is hard to resist and their service is impeccable!

I loved the experience that me and my friends had there yesterday!! Even though they were busy, the staff was very friendly and helpful! The waiter recommended a hamburger (it had goat cheese and crispy onions) with bacon and it was absolutely fantastic! Perfect!! They also have their own ketchup… OMG best ketchup I ever had in my life!! I’ll definitely go back there !

Food was amazing. So much flavour. We ordered the short rib ragu and mushroom risotto. I could not pick a favourite. The portions are great, you get quite a bit and it's super filling. The dessert was alright. I forget what the dessert was called and they don't have the dessert menu online. I think the strawberry topping is too sweet and the entire thing just tasted alright. I feel like if maybe it were fresh strawberries it would be better as the custard and the French toast is so sweet already. Overall great experience. The servers were very attentive and friendly and we didn't have any issues there. Highly recommend trying it. I would definitely come back.

Had my first time to dine in here Burgers were Really good but didn't expect too much of the fries. It could have been good if there is a small portion of beautiful side salad that comes with it for a price of $24. Fish that was serve were lack of seasoned and it was too golden brown and over cooked and a small portion for a price of $19. A beautiful plating could help too. But it was good experience. Hope to come back here next time and will have a lovely plate of this items mentioned.

This place is amazing! Ulis was highly recommend by locals before we visited so our expectations were high and we weren't dissapointed. What great, fresh tasting food! Decided on Uli’s After checking out their menu online. We made a reservation on a weekday in the summer, and we were glad we did as it was quite busy and we wanted to sit on the patio. We had the carpaccio, fish and chips and gnocchi, and our fantastic and the portions were generous. They have a great cocktail list, and some nice wines. Although the food was fabulous, the service was even better, personable, professional, efficient.

Hands down our favourite restaurant. Not only is the food amazing, the cocktails are clever and tasty and served in beautiful vintage glassware. We spend way too much money on cocktails and beer because it’s just so much fun. Clark is an expert on all things beer and we love having him as our server. We always leave ulis with more knowledge on beer than when we went in. Clark has the most amazing stories, and is clearly passionate about his work and sharing his love for food and drink. Ulis is an experience not to be missed!

Great location on the white Rock strip. A meal with a view, not much more you could ask for. We came here for national cheeseburger day and they did not dissapoint. Meat is brought in daily and you can definitely taste the freshness and quality of the meat. The burgers were so juicy and flavorful paired with the shoe string fries was perfect. Fries were super crispy and well seasoned. Did not have that old fryer oil taste.

At a friend's recommendation, went here to hang out and catch up over dinner. Was thoroughly impressed with the food that we ordered. We each got a burger (which was voted best in bc). And also split a paella between us. Words can not do it justice about just how good the food was. Service was good too, staff was nice and timely. Also great views to be had if you can get the patio seats. Definitely will come back and try the other menu items!

Great restaurant with a nice patio/view and great service. Location does not get too much car noise. It has a great view of the pier and the water. Hostess was very friendly and kept refilling our water. Very laid back atmosphere. Food was average. Most entrees are $30+ and quality is not there. Steak was ok, tasty but with hard pieces. Veggies were under cooked and bland. Breaded fish was fish and chips was dark, almost over cooked. Presentation is good and attention to detail.

My nephew had the grilled cheese with the skinny fries, and he finished the whole plate! He loved it, but sadly I did not get to try! I had the burger 08 from the secret menu which I also loved. The grilled Caesar salad was worth the extra cost to upgrade from the fries. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant was nice inside. Sure it is a little pricey, but you won't be sorry. Recommend skipping the bottled root beer as not worth the cost.

Uli's is a German name but the food is multi country, if that description makes sense. The burger is an award winner and all the food at our table was excellent. The first page of the beer list had 18 beers with a total of 42 beers available. The cranberry sour-ish beer was interestingly good. We had the best table, the best server and the best time. Thanks Uli's.....

We are here right now and we had the chicken and waffles and the French toast with compote. Both were excellent. Huge portions. Definetly have enough to take home for lunch! The owner was so awesome. Talking soccer with my hubby. Waitresses are great. Will definetly be back!

I couldn’t believe the taste when I took my first bite. The best is that it stayed amazing and fresh tasting until the last bite. The meat quality is impressive. No weird cartilage pieces in the beef patty that you can encounter in some other burger places. Ordered the #02 burger and added extra bacon to it. It was an explosion of taste! The thin crispy fries are so tasty and stay crispy and tasty until the end. This truly is the best burger place in Vancouver area and I’m so glad I finally got to try it!

Had a blast here for Oktoberfest! Good beer, and great food. I look forward to Oktoberfest every year here. They were also very accommodating to my dates allergies. The place itself is warm and inviting.

Great patio with a splendid view of the beach and the pier. Food is top-notch (the Oysters Rockefeller and the Baked Brie are phenomenal). Service is excellent. Certainly one of the better places on Marine Drive. Matteo, thank you for accommodating all of our requests, it is very much appreciated. I've been to a couple spots on the strip in white rock. While I cannot complain about the service or the seating I can say with no ill will I found the quality to simply be average. It was quite busy on a Tuesday night in the summer. We ordered the fish and chips, lemonade and the focaccia. All items were just plain Jane in terms of flavour. Perhaps other items on the menu are better but compared to other restaurants like five I can say it was a 3 on all fronts.

We came in for the Parallel 49 pairing dinner this week and were blown away. Clarke and the rest of the Uli’s staff did an amazing job of pairing the beers with the uniquely built menu for the evening. Great food, great drinks, and as always amazing service. With the White Rock Pier being repaired and reopened, after a day down in South Surrey it was decided dinner and a sunset after a walk on the pier was in order. Uli's has long perched above the start of the pier. It hosts a scratch kitchen with lically sourced produce. We went on burger night and the chef served up some truly mouth-watering burgers. The servers were charming, knowledgable and engaging. I opted for the spicy hot 7.0, while my parents chose the Uli's Original. Shoestring fries on 2, a Large Caesar salad on the other. Oktoberfest for this month, some quality German style beers or a tangy root beer as beverages. While a bit pricey, the quality of the meals made it money well spent, happily spent and food even more happily devoured.

Food was good although a little pricy. Waitress did not coordinate our orders. Appetizers came in 2 minutes before the main course came.(Defeats the purpose of ordering Appetizers) Offered very little if any apology. Blamed it on the kitchen staff. Not sure that I will go back again.

Amazing place. Sat outside. It was nice and warm.. Great ambience. Took the Today Fresh fish special but was a bit pricey as the price was not written in the menu ($40). The calamari entré was crunchy and the top notch is the Cheesecake.

Oh boy where to start. Firstly my partner and I had the pleasure of trying atleast 10 cocktails from their menu! Overdoing it, maybe. Any regrets, heck no! All were so unique, tastefully done and layered! They even did a couple dessert drinks from scratch! The view is spectacular. Also dinner and dessert was great! I have plans to come back here in April and I might just never leave.

Uli's is the best pub/resteraunt in Surrey White Rock hands down. The 2.0 Burger is delicious and my go to order...until that is, I discovered their secret menu! Now I have to plan on trips back for 3.0 to 8.0 and more that I may not be aware of. The beers on tap are rotating and of a decent selection, bottled offers a few more. The service is attentive but casual, the patio is heated and the location gives views of the pier and water.

Fantastic nice and professional service. Fish and chips not bad, but (!!!!) to much baking soda in fish batter. Chips really good, tatar souce not bad, but fish batter unfortunately taste and flavor of ammonia, which means too much baking powder. And finally.... Little bit pricy for this level of food.

Still one of the best places in town. Burgers are always good. The Ragu was fantastic tonight. We keep coming back because the servers are fantastic. The view is impeccable and if by chance anything is ever off, they will make it right immediately. When you eat here you are fed well and treated even better. You can tell you are appreciated at this local eatery!
