The One Eighty's Reviews and comments
Had an awesome experience. The view, food and service is fantastic. Celebrated my hubby's birthday there. Staff was super friendly and accommodating. We changed our seat for a better view. Would highly recommend it. We enjoyed our dinner. Thank you.
Ps. Place is extremely clean and covid protocols are in place.
Takes some research to find your way up to the 51st for from the parking level. The atmosphere is nice. My risotto could have had a bigger portion for the price. The steak dinner looked great 😋 for the amount of money spent it was okay. Worth it for the city views.
Went there to celebrate a friend’s 25th birthday - the atmosphere, ambience, view, food plus the service was just outstanding! Highly recommended to anyone going in to treat themselves, whether it’s a date night or even just pure celebration. You won’t be disappointed!
The One Eighty is absolutely fabulous!
The view, the food and the service.. enjoyed the whole experience. Pricing was fair too not over priced for the view. You are welcome to see the view from either balcony for those selfies and breathtaking Toronto views if eating inside. We walked in without a reservation and were seating quickly.
The restaurant provides a beautiful view of the city. On a clear night you can look at the beautiful toronto skyline while enjoying the delicious food. The staff is very friendly and accommodating.
Although they offer a small menu but the dishes were delicious.
We tried :
Arancini ( Italian deep fried rice balls)
Ahi Tuna tartare
Truffle mushroom risotto
Herb roasted half chicken
Death by chocolate
Drinks:
Cranberry mule
Pucker up
Pina colada
Everything tasted great but I would request them to add a few more halal options on the menu.
They also offer cocktails without alcohol.
Would love to go back for another romantic dinner.
Went for a dinner on a Sat night, special occasion. Easy online reservation, great views and very attentive service. Overpriced menu with minimal food choices (at least dinner menu). Add a long drive on Sat night (I live in suburbs), only 3.5 stars
They have halal chicken and they can make any drinks from the menu without alcohol. That was a big plus. The food was fresh and delicious. Their vegetarian pizza was also very good.
Our reservation got cancelled since we came late, but they still managed to find seats for us. And we changed our table 3 times for a better view. The view is stunning and it looks so much better from the sunset side of the restaurant. Even inside the place is very cozy and not loud, in the evening they light candles on the tables and the lighting is really good.
Due to Covid you can’t walk around and see the view, so to get the view it’s better to sit outside.
The service was great. We enjoyed our time there. Thanks to the staff!
I usually never write reviews but I think this one is needed! Not only was this a beautiful view, great food + drinks but the host and waitress were an absolute delight. Our waitress was Gabriela and she was easily the best waitress my friend and I have ever had! If you're looking for a less busy night for photos we went on a Tuesday! Will definitely be back! :)
Last night, we hosted my birthday dinner with 12 of our friends and we had such an incredible time. The view and food was great. Probably some of the best pizza and arancini we’ve ever had. On top of that, Taylor our server was so warm, thoughtful and attentive. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back!
Ambience was great, and the setup was quite good. Staff was helpful and friendly and we were able to get in earlier than our reserved time. Finding your way there is a bit difficult, however the view of the city from up there is beautiful. The food is good, but not a lot of options I'll say.
Nice friendly and helpful staff. Good food and good view. They canceled my booking because I was 40 min late. Difficult to find parking as well but the restaurant is good. You enter through the Manulife center budding and that's challenging to find
Limited and pricey menu however the food was surprisingly delicious and the views were amazing 👌
What a wonderful place with an amazing view! Friendly service and delicious food! I ordered the wings, spicy and grilled. 👌👌 Pricey but worth it.
Great food and an amazing view of the city.
Right off the start, we were told we could only be around for 90 minutes. Food was not as good as you'd expect for the price, which leans on the expensive side. The waitress kept pouring our wine, which felt rushy. Giving 3 stars for the view alone.
Absolutely stunning views of Toronto. Somewhat difficult to find but once you arrive, it's totally worth it.
The property and restaurant has a lot of potential but unfortunately that was it for the highlights. It felt like there were so many opportunities to take this to a upscale, lounge type restaurant/bar but the management didn't want to take it that bar. It was like getting cocktails at a sports bar with the world's best view.
Understaffed, took us 7 minutes to get someone to see us. The waitresses we're wearing incredibly inelegant uniforms, exactly what you'd expect for a dive bar.
Drinks were extremely sweet or extremely sour - take your pick.
-Natalie, front desk✅✅✅✅nice, funny, polite and cute.
-Anthony, manager ✅✅✅✅nice, polite, very quick, he helped with everything we needed.
"The PLACE" is gorgeous ✅✅✅✅
-Samantha, our server was indifferent, kind of rude, actually she didnt care at all⛔❎❎❎⛔ she totally failed
-Food was great.✔
So I will say that I'll totally come back if Samantha has her day off😁👍
Overall the experience was amazing! Right from the start the staff are super friendly and welcoming. The appetizer we got (Cauliflower Fritters) was also very flavourful. I also got the pork belly and the meat was super tender and juicy. While the view was superb, it was not 180 degrees as the restaurant name suggests.
Taylor serving the tables was amazing, the staff is very accommodating and nice, overall a great experience will come back again, great views of the 6
Fancy place - perfect for sipping a drink on the side patio on a summer's day, enjoying a fantastic view of Toronto. Funny, lovely waitress, great service. Never felt rushed, nor pressed to order more than drinks or dessert. The Lychee Royal ($13) was pretty good, and so was the Death by Chocolate ($17) dessert, though not good enough to merit the price. As others have said - view vs. cost.
Love this place! It’s so chill yet classy at the same time. Great food, view, and hosts!
Brunch buffets are hard to find nowadays, but One Eighty does it right. The perfect spread, they keep things fresh, and they’re so delicious. Servers are great. The space has an impeccable view. Perfect for a date, or brunch out with the in laws, or parents, and even a girls brunch — the mimosas are life! 😍
Make sure to try the omelettes and also the Salmon.
This location is great and has a great view, although it is probably much better as the sun sets. The menu doesn't have a huge selection so I'd recommend reviewing it ahead of time. The ambiance is great and service was fantastic. The drinks and food tasted great, but we kind of felt like we were seated in a corner which definitely affected the experience. They'll validate parking which is a plus.
Went there for a late night dinner - vibe was decent, the NY Striploin dish was juicy with Lychee Royals onside before Tuna Tartar was served 🍽🥂 it was a soothing date 💖
Enjoyed this place much. Spectacular view of the city plus friendly staff. Food is good but not wow
Vibe and the view is unbeatable. Drink was nice and food was ok but i would like to have more variety in the menu.
Great drinks, food, and they staff were fantastic.
Also this view of the Toronto nightlife is breath taking
You come for the view. Have friends that n from out of town, then this is a great place for evening cocktail and apps. Call ahead to book table in South side balcony. They also have Sunday brunch to 3p.m. - $40 per/kids half price
gorgeous city views from rooftop patio!
Great experience here at the One Eighty. Once you're at the top of the building the view is extraordinarily, you can really see how Toronto looks like from above. The food was really delicious (NOTE: Keep in mind that this place is quite pricey). You pay for what you get! The food was freshly made and you can tell a lot of look went into preparing it. However, it did take a while to get the waiter's attention. I noticed that they were quite chatty with their fellow coworkers. Other than that, this is a great place to take you're buddies or SO. 4/5. Would came back
Kind of a hidden gem in Toronto. Alot of people think the 360 Restauraunt is the only restauraunt in Toronto where you can get an epic view of the city, but a few places like the One Eighty exist. Its on the 51st floor of the Manulife Center, you take a private elevator up, the issue is the shape of the restauraunt is a square, with seating views only on the south or north walls (east and west walls are the bar and elevator/entry way). Thats the main advantage of 360 - literally every outer table has a city view as its a circular restauraunt. The main selling point of this place is probably the epic views, at both day and night you can get a spectacular view of the CN Tower, but the North view isnt that bad either.
As for the food, the selection isn't incredibly diverse, I suggest reading the menu ahead of time and making reservations for a window side table (or patio when the weather is accommodating) but the food we were served was cooked well and tasted good.
Loved this place since the first time I visited. The view is awesome at night. I usually just get drinks and enjoy the view. Food is not that great.
Spent almost $300 here on a Saturday night. Food was not worth the price. You are paying for the location. Avoid the biscuit and brie appetizer - tastes like crackers from a box. Dessert was the best part. Would not visit again.
If you wanna enjoy toronto's skyline, this place would be awesome 👌
It's pretty expensive but definitely worthy.
Love this place!
Fantastic brunch and great value for money. This place in my opinion has always had a much better view of Toronto as it includes the CN Tower, but their brunch menu is a massive selling point now too. It's wonderful value for money and the quality of food, service and views is amazing! So glad we took out tourist friends here when we did and can't wait to return - highly recommend the waffles!
They offer a good selection of savoury dishes: salmon, meatballs, kale salad, a cheese spread, potato salad, gnocchi, several types of omelette, pizza, charcuterie... Though the stars of the spread are the desserts - the cinnamon rolls, the chocolate cake and the pop tarts were truly delicious.
I was a bit disappointed that for the price you pay (39 + taxes + tip) coffee is not included, I really like to drink a couple cups of coffee while brunching and for this one you have to pay for drinks separately.
Great ambiance and great view. Luckily the server allowed us to have a nice window seat. The service was nice as well. Food was decent, I feel it just needs a little more of a boost in terms of quality (taste) and quantity for the price, my date’s gnocchi was a little short. The bread and desert was great though!
Delicious Italian Food with an amazing night view! Servicers are really nice:) having a good dinner with my friends here💕
This is really the best pizza I've ever had. The staff was very nice. Obviously the view was great, but I'll probably go back just for the food. It was expensive, but worth is. 1 app, 1 main, 5 alcoholic drinks and 1 coffee came to $166.
Amazing experience! We had a party here for a birthday and the staff was so accommodating and speedy! Justin in particular took care of me whenever I needed anything. The ambience and decor is beautiful and the drinks are very strong (not watered down!) The food is delicious and we even got an entree when only appetizers were promised. The view is stunning and there are plenty of seats and tables outside as well. A wonder experience that I would recommend to all!
I reserved the place before two weeks and when I come, the receptionist was unprofessional! I was dreaming to sitting in the CN tower view as I know but she took us to the other part! I told her that we are comes from far away and we can wait until the one table is available! She said no we can’t and I’m busy I have to go to serve other clients!!! The food was good
Beautiful restaurant on the 51st of the Manulife centre. Recommend going on clear night to be able to see the sun view of Toronto.
For the average Joe this place restaurant would be great for a milestone anniversary or important birthday. I would say it has a definite romantic yet sexy vibe. It's a little pricey but it has delicious food, drinks, and killer atmosphere to match the price point.
Let’s start with the positives: the views are awesome, the food was okay, the ambiance was nice and the drinks were good.
Negatives: they don’t let you go outside even though the temps are above freezing. We got the wrong bill twice but they were finally able to sort it out the third time after we told them what we had ordered. Service was okay minus the bill issue.
Amazing 180-degree view of downtown and midtown Toronto skyline. The atmosphere is elegant and romantic. The food portion size is good. The price is reasonable for a high end restaurant.
It was a lovely experience, the ambience, decor, waitress were all great. Prices and portions are okay /reasonable considering the view/location.
Did the Sunday brunch at 180 and it was excellent quality and the weather was wonderful so we got to sit on the patio and enjoy the sunshine. Overall highly recommend both the ambience as well as the food.
Always come back here, great food and service since I've been coming in 2014. Look forward to the next celebrations and views from this gorgeous patio!
Enjoyed an evening here the other night for an anniversary dinner. Took the elevator up to the 51st floor and it brings you right to the restaurant. Views are amazing over the city. Luckily we went on a less busy night so it was relatively quiet and the service was attentive. Food was good. Not great but good. The prices are high. Dessert was great! You’re paying for the location/view. Overall it’s the experience more than the food.
The food was really great, the view even better and the drinks is the cherry on top of the sundae. It is definitely a fancier place but for a special occasion, it is worth it! But a fair warning, be ready to pay top dollar for the experience!
Come here for the nice, romantic view. Definitely a location for dates.
The One Eighty is a cute little lounge/bar on top of the Manulife Centre on Yonge/Bay. It's a bit hard to find but it's near the entrance for the movie theater. There's a $5 cover if you arrive after 9pm. Which makes sense because you would want to come here after hours when it gets dark to see the city lights.
The pizza was good and massive. The tacos were fairly good, nothing exceptional. The drinks were pricey, but it's worth it because of the view. Once it gets dark, they provide small table lights to give more ambience.
Overall, this place is great for dates. Come here for a couple drinks but go somewhere else for dinner beforehand.
We were there this pm with our two kids: attentive staff, quick service. Pizza was good and nice drinks . Great view as always
I didn’t get a patio sitting which I was hoping but restaurant is worth visiting for the view. I am vegeterian and non-alcoholic so menu wasn’t great for me, there were very limited options for me. But if you wanna have a drink with a gorgeous view, this is it!
I celebrated my sister’s birthday there yesterday. Patio was full but indoor was fully empty even tho they accept reservations there too!
Food:
We ordered a burger, caprese pizza and fries.
Burger was decent but the fries🤢 weird taste and looks like it burnt.
Caprese pizza is just tasted like pizza pizza’s thinner mozeralla pizza and not better taste obviously🤔 for 28$?
Dessert:
We ordered 2 death by nutella with ice cream and it was pretty delicious😋
The view is amazing and food is decent and little expensive. However its such a nice experience and If you have 200$ to spend for food& dessert along with wine for a beautiful view go there!🥰
The ambience in the place speaks volumes. From going up the elevators to the 51st floor to beholding a spectacular view on the south side is all worth it. The staff are amazing, very attentive. Came with a friend and just had drinks but the food around us looked so delicious. I'll definitely be coming back soon to try the food menu. My chocolate martini unfortunately wasn't great but the pina colada was divine. In all it was a brilliant experience.
Service is slow, I was just their for drinks. Ambience is nice so is the view.
The view was amazing 👏 😍 friendly staff & good appetizers. 😊
Excellent view! Excellent service! Excellent evening! The price point is a touch steep however the birds eye view makes it well worth the stop! This hotel is situated in the heart of the action and around the corner from Yorkville! I shall definitely visit again!
Cocktails were average, but the view is magnificent. Would have given 4 stars, but they did not seat us on that side that faced the CN tower, even though it was a special occasion and my partner had specifically made a request while making a reservation.
Its so beautiful and relaxing, customer care is 100% 👌🏾
Great city views day and night.
Food is pricey but with the view we pay extra for it. Service was decent.
Amazing service, delicious food, and lively atmosphere! Thank you to our server Taylor and the wonderful staff!
Get ready to spend, a cheeseboard and steak with a glass of wine was amazing!
Perfect spot, but food needs to be improved.
I don’t mind to spend money for a good quality, unfortunately there is no best one
it was great! food was amazing.
Quiet delicious food, and every staff is so polite, professional. No words can describe the deliciousness of the food. Nice view, bright, clean, very suitable for people who like to take pictures.
Excellent services!! Delicious food and fast service. 100 recommended
Great place! Great view! Nice food! Good service! Hight prices.
Amazing location with amazing views of the city. Great for drinks and even better for date nights!
We decided to go to the one eighty for our anniversary and we had a bit of a hard time finding the elevator to go up to the 51st floor. Once we made our way up we were greet by a wonderful staff who quickly let us to our sets outside. We were facing the North side because we wanted to see the sunset. As for the view it truly is breath taking. We arrived around 7:30
We decided to order a few mocktails which were really good about 8$ each at the time. We then ordered some homemade chips with delicious salmon tartare. I would highly recommend it. I decided to go with the golden beet pasta for my main dish and I was notified that the pasta was in fact stringed beets. I accepted this as I have had similar dishes at home in other establishments. The wait for our food was well paced.
When I received my dish the presentation was quite nice. But here's where I will clarify my 3 star rating. The dish was sadly very bland. It had no vinaigrette, no sauce, spices, or any distinctive flavoring. It did have a bit of standard hummus as a topping. It was quite literally stringed beets and some greens. The beets were warm like a pasta but the assorted green leave salad were room temperature. This made for an even more bland experience. When the waitress checked in on us I did inform them that everything was alright. The dish isn't bad just very bland.
After that we ordered some dessert and I went with something called the rocher. It's essentially a giant Ferrero rocher. Very sweet, and has a delicious almond cream inside. If you like chocolate this is definitely a good choice.
When it was time to leave we decided to take some selfies / pictures on the south side facing the cn tower and other major landmarks. That side was probably twice as busy as the north side at that time around 8:30-9pm.
The private elevator back down was the end of our stay at the one eighty. If it wasn't for the sub-par main course I would be giving it 4 stars.
Breathtaking. This is the best word, I can use for this gorgeous place. The best part of it, as for me, it's not a tourist magnet, if you know what I mean. It's hard to find it, if you don't know what are you looking for.
Amazing view, nice drinks, could be a lack of non-alcohol menu, but I am sure they can fix that, right? :)
There are 3 options of sitting - East side, West side and indoor. All of them are good choice. I've been here for about 3 hours, starting from around 6 PM, so I've enjoyed a sunset as well as gorgeous night Toronto.
Must visit, if you thought you've seen everything in GTA ;)
Overpriced but nice view
Every-time I have gone I have had an absolutely fantastic experience. You cannot beat that view.
Staff was amazing tonight, one of the most beautiful restaurants in the city!!!
Always a great experience for drinks. I recommend the Lychee Royale and Lola!
Fancy place with awesome view of Toronto. Foods and drinks are great too.
Simply Amazing....Beautiful view of toronto downtown from 52nd Floor...Best place to give surprise...Less options for food but yes lots of options for Drinks...Service is also fast...
Service was amazing, menu options are a bit limited. Great atmosphere and ambience for a night out.
The most stunning views of Toronto? Yes. Attentive staff? Yes. Delicious, housemade Italian specialities? Yes. Super chic interiors? Yes!!! And if you can, get the truffle gnocchi. It's too good.
If you’re thinking of going to the CN tower for a breathtaking view of Toronto’s city scape, no one will blame you for going to the CN Tower. However, the most important part of Toronto’s city scape that is, the CN tower itself, will not be part of the city scape since you will be in the city scape. If you want one of the best views of the city of Toronto, with the CN Tower in the background, you’ll want to make a visit to the One Eighty Restaurant and Lounge, located on the 51st floor of the commercial complex at 55 Bloor St. West. The lounge offers a South and north view of the city, which is arguably one of the best views you can find in the city. Despite mediocre and pricy food, the One Eighty Lounge is a hidden gem for its breathtaking view of the city. The best time to go is before sunset, so you can appreciate the view of Toronto during daytime, then sunset, then watch the city light up the sky at night.
Food was good without being spectacular with the matcha cake the standout. To be honest, it's all about the location and views so as long as you don't have high expectations for the food, you won't be disappointed.
You definitely would need to bring a good camera here. View is absolutely breathtaking. Their outdoor seating is beautiful, you can even go up for a visit. No need to be a customer which I think is amazing. Unfortunately their music and food are edible. I would recommend you go there for drinks only.
We went for Sunday birthday brunch and have recommended it ever since! I loved the vibes, the food and, obviously, the view. I appreciate the fact that they take a certain amount of reservations and don't put pressure on their customers to leave early. On the contrary, they suggest you stay and enjoy the view while grabbing excellent dishes from the open bar.
Above all, this restaurant has amazing views of Toronto's skyline. It is located on the 52nd floor and can only be accessed by one designated elevator. It is worth the ascent - the food is delicious and there are interesting menu options. We got the octopus starter dish and some cocktails. We were really impressed with the flavors and the quality of the food. The service was undoubtedly above average and although prices reflected the standard of the restaurant, it is well worth a visit. Give it a try!
The best spot in Yorkville, I am so delighted that The One Eighty is back up and running after so many months. Welcome home!
I had such an amazing time with my fiancé on Mothers Day, a huge surprise. The bartender that evening was outstanding, went and above for our special night. We had several drinks. Best seasonal cocktail on the menu was
“ the beekeeper”love that lavender taste 😍
The food was tasteful, keep up the good work, I can see the menus over time have gotten better.
In all my years coming to celebrate milestones events, This place has also been my favourite spot!!!
Absolutely will be coming back, looking forward to see what on the fall menu.
Came for a late drink after the theatre. Was happy to sit inside and enjoy the spectacular view from there . Service is always good here. Sat and chatted over a couple of drinks with no pressure to order food. One nice cocktail and glass of Okenagen white. I like that they serve wines from BC.
Best drinking/dining experience in the city.
Attended a corporate party here recently. It was snowing so couldn't get pictures that evening. However I have been there a few times. The food is excellent - not the cheapest but...the views are amazing. Especially on a clear evening you would enjoy both day and nighttime views. 👍👍👍 Highly recommended.
The view is spectacular from either side. The staff is attentive and funny. A perfect place to sit with friends for a drink and enjoy the view. My favourite drink for the evening was the froz-eh, a fruity cocktail. Would definetly go again to try thr food next time.
Amazing view.
Considering as a venue, the staff was helpful considering we just showed up and the drinks were on point. We'll be sending our planner over for pricing. Sold on the view, space and drinks
Yorkville’s best dinning view, furthermore one of the best views in the city.
