Glad there's new place in Surrey that is becoming more welcoming to the LGBTQ+ populace. Everyweekend they host gay thene various events including gay bingo, drag shows, and other forms of entertainemnt. The food is fairly good, especially the steamed salmon, Margherita pizza, and mix cocktail drinks.

As an employee of Central City, myself and the staff have been extremely happy with our new manager, Anthony, who has brought in more business, solidified the staff, and created greater opportunity to achieve better positions, increase wages, and make more tips. Drinks are made quickly and efficiently, food is served promptly, and our customer service has shown incredible improvement. We have been busier than ever since Anthony's management. I believe our restaurant will only continue to bring in more and more business!

Was a cozy place to have a few drinks with a friend. The menu was kind of small, but the food was good. The service was ok, the waitress was nice, we had beers regularly refilled. Tho they charged me for something I never ordered so that was part of why 4 star not 5.

Best table service I had in long long time ago. Great staff and best drinks. Although food could use some upgrades, with locals to be added to the menu or something different tasty, yummy, delicious that would stand it out even more. N definitely going back there again ✌

I will always love this restaurant! Cozy place for any time of day and any kind of get-together. Always have great food and the servers are so funny and kind! Great for all ages! Music not too loud at all. Bar in the centre with all the tables around the bar. Lots of drinks and food available and it all tastes amazing. TV’s all over the place so you can see the show from wherever you’re sitting. I will continue to return.. this is definitely my go-to hot spot! I always get the chicken avocado burger :)

Met my cousin & her friend for a drink and some nibbles. We thoroughly enjoyed the Radler on tap & the calamari was delicious. We also shared a Cubano sandwich that was very tasty. The place isn't the easiest to find as it is attached to Central City Office tower and the outside signage only faces one way. Also still not sure where the best place to park may be.

Service was great, I appreciate the beer selection and the food was pretty tasty. I come in once in a while, kind of an awkward experience when I watched who I think was the owner, berate one of the cooks, at the table, left a sour taste in my mouth.

This is a great spot if you are near the central city skytrain station or central city mall. Lots of seating and room to host larger groups. Parking is a little difficult, but the mall has free 3 hour parking in the parkade. They have a stone grill pizza ozen, so if you like napoleon style pizza, you might want to try the pizza.

I happen to be at Central City with friend on a Sunny day. What a great experience! When we entered we were received with a smile behind the mask. ;-) ! We were seated in the patio. Our server Tiara I believe was her name was great! Our drinks were served promptly. I ordered the fish tacos and asked for Jalapenos, Tiara accommodated us. As it go windy it was getting cold . Habib, I believe is the GM there, personally brought the heater to our table to ensure our comfort. Great dining experience! I look forward to visiting them again soon and the great staff! :-)

The pub is located right by the Surrey Central SkyTrain Station, which is very convenience for everyone. The pub has a good food and drinks. The waitresses are nice and friendly. They took orders fast and the food came fast too. Very great customer services. I have come to this pub few times with my boyfriend and his co-workers around dinner time. It's a great place to hold a small business party. MOZZARELLA CHEESE STICKS in this PUB is our favorite. Even though it's very expensive ($11.00 for 6 mozzarella cheese sticks), the taste was great and we ordered them every time. Also, this Pub has been producing its own craft beers since 2003. Having the fresh cold craft beers for dinner at Surrey Central BrewPub, it will be a great experience for you.

Menu isn't very inspired and the food was not great. Ordered a Margherita pizza, was not impressed. For the quality, it was definitely overpriced. Dominion or downtown Vancouver level prices without that level of quality. Service was mostly good, tho they forgot to bring our appetizers. Anyways, it seems like it was taken over by new management, so between the takeover and COVID, I'll likely give it one more chance during the summer or early fall if they revamp their food and cocktails menu. The old restaurant was a great haunt, the new team seems to be going through growing pains. Oh yeah, one thing. Ordered a vodka soda single, they brought that out, all well and good. Ordered a double, they brought out a single in a glass that was double the size. Hilarious. Edit: updated review - second visit, service definitely improved and the manager was very pleasant and on the restaurant floor checking that everything was going well. Food and pricing ratio still need improvement.

Went here to grab a few drinks, it's a nice bar/restaurant, got a highball... Double Rum & Ginger Ale, it didn't taste like a double... Then got an Old Fashioned which was fantastic. The server was nice, polite and friendly. Overall, a decent experience.

Ordered Fish of the week. Was OK. Servers were friendly. Be aware, at night do not walk out here through the side door to the outdoor dining area, because the way out it’s locked, also you can’t come back due to the one-way exit. (They should have a sign or just lock the side door at night)

Under new ownership. On my arrival the seating staff were very friendly. Quick service once seated. We started out with the charcuterie & cheeseboard, it was nice, but only one cheese was offered, blue cheese. Although very flavorful it is an acquired taste. My wife had the beet salad, she had no complaints. I had the Cuban sandwich, very tasty, nice mouthfeel with the crunch of the pickles and outer crust. Soft bread inside and the pork belly they used was delicious. Followed that up with cheesecake which was delightful. Our server Sarah was very friendly and attentive. Overall I would recommend trying this place out. And I'll mention at the time I was in full work gear ( high vis, dirty workpants, filthy steel toes) as I decided to visit on a whim and call my wife to join me. I felt no judgment whatsoever. I will be visiting again.

I took my Son here for his 19th Birthday. We had Habib the manager who looked after us. What an amazing experience He made for my Son's first Pub visit. His service as well as the other staff members was over the top. He was taking the time to check on each of the other guests to make sure they were having a great time. We had some drinks and food after wards which were great. I highly recomend that You come come check out The Central City Taphouse and support your local buisness in this time of need due to Covid. We live in the local area with in walikng distance and We have found our go to Neighbourhood Pub. Thanks again for the amazing esperience and I will be telling all my friends about it. Cheers Darren

Staff were attentive and helpful during our visit. The fare is pretty typical pub food with some slight twists here and there. Namely, a full pizza section, and some atypical burger/sandwich choices like the chicken avocado burger. They have a large selection of drinks and promote a 4 drink beer flight for a limited menu listing. The seating arrangements are great, with alot of space both indoors and outdoors, and plenty of opportunity to hear your friends if it's a noisey day. I don't think it's an ideal location to watch a game, though they do have them playing, but this pub doesn't sell itself on being a sports bar, it's much more of a lounge atmosphere. All in all, a solid pub!

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! Its that perfect place that suits every occasion!! Love the atmosphere here. Always friendly staff here. And really like how they are getting more vegan options lately!! I got to have vegan nachos for this first time! Lol. And the cauliflower bites were amazing. Only problem is- Honey is NOT vegan. Unfortunately I was told something was vegan ate it and went to order it next time to be told it wasn't vegan as it contained honey. Please make your pizza dough without honey!! :)

Always have a great time here. Staff is always very friendly, and are quick to come around when you need them. I'm here literally every week for beers with friends and the staff are all so welcoming, they even remember our regular drink orders. Service is fast, food is always good, and they handle special food requests very well. The whole place is wheelchair friendly except for some tiny lounge areas, which makes it a great spot for those with disabilities.

I loved it. The atmosphere was great. I went I the afternoon on a Saturday. But I can imagine on a Friday or Saturday night it would be awsome. I loved the beer. I had wings they were good. Not the best wings I ever had but it isn't a wing place so it understandable. Definitely would recommend this place and I will be back for sure.

First time at this restaurant and overall great experience. I came on a super busy Friday lunch with a couple of my colleagues last week and food was good, service was great. However the server seemed busy & flustered. Thankfully another lady who delivered our food also the same one that sat and greeted us with a great smile was awesome. Only downfall was that the tips didn’t go to her which I wish it did because she looked the busiest yet still managed to keep a positive attitude and attained to our needs. You guys need more staff like her.

Great atmosphere and comfy seats! Went on a Saturday night and they had awesome live music which wasn't too loud. They have a large menu and their food was great. Very friendly staff, highly recommend!

Large interior, yet several different sections. Has a multi level bar, accessible via normal bar stools or comfortable low level chairs. Decent range of beers, food was great. Our large group (25+) was accomodated easily on Saturday afternoon.

Polite staff and great food. The lobby was nice and comfortable and it was a great experience for the group we had at the time. The prices are a bit steep, but if you're interested in it and you have some cash to spare it could turn out to be a great night with friends.

Enjoyed this spot when I went for lunch a couple weeks ago. My waitress seemed to be the only one in the restaurant actually serving, so I felt bad for her - She did what she could to be diligent, though, so kudos to her for that. I got their crispy crunch burger, which was very tasty. There's a wide variety of beer and food available to try, and the interior was comfortable and nicely designed. Would definitely recommend this spot if you're in the area and are wanting some good quality pub food

The food is All very spicy which I don't like. I ordered the chicken burger which didn't say it had anything hot on it and they SOAKED it in Frank's red hot sauce! Apparently they changed it without updating the menu. They did make me a new one without it and it was delicious. The cup i got had lipstick on the rim as well.

The servers are very nice and accommodating. The food is really good, however when we tried to call for reservation they said they don't take reservations and guess what they asked when we got there?--> "Do you have reservations?" So the six of us were sat on a couch which that I think is only good for four. Ambience is nice great for friends who are catching up or just wanna chillax. The live music adds to the coziness of the place too. Price is reasonable.

Surprisingly good food for a pub - and better/cheaper than the Civic Hotel pub a block away near City Hall. Service can be slow so be aware. Check take out orders carefully since they have messed it up alarmingly often and it’s not fun to discover the order was wrong/incomplete when you get home.

Grabbed lunch here and they were fast to seat and serve. Took our clients here for a bite and it was a solid spot for a business lunch meeting. Something for everyone on the menu and portions were good for the price. Only a 4 because there wasn’t much special about the place but location is great. Would recommend and come back again!

CROP DUSTERS. Spray twice in the air and walk through the mist....this is how one applies perfume or cologne. I could taste perfume while eating. Otherwise service and food were great

My husband and I went to the pub last night for our stay at home honeymoon, The first time we went was on Valentines day, and it was horrible, we walked out and went somewhere else, but last night was amazing they redeemed them-self on that night. Our server was amazing (Leah) Super friendly and very helpful with a lot of questions we had, the food was amazing and honesty we will be going back again not only for the amazing food we had order but for the amazing service we had! Definitely recommend going if your a vegetarian or vegan!
