Cool place and love the idea. The staff were super sweet and helpful. The food is mediocre though nothing too special. Pancakes were mushy and kind of undercooked

Great food small town atmosphere very friendly staff, and recommend trying their real milkshakes in many varieties. On my last visit the place was very busy they are asking that you show proof of covid vaccination at the door. Clean environment. Enjoy!

Breakfast anytime is always a bonus for all you sleepy heads. I love the nostalgia of James Dean and Marilyn Monroe posters. Yes they offer a choice of cubed or shredded hashbrowns. Meter parking available up and down Broadway and free parking in the surrounding side streets. The menue has a good variety of traditional dinner items at competitive prices for that area. It's a hit for me every time I'm in Saskatoon.

A great Cafe, with wonderful, nostalgic, decor. There are lots of throwbacks to the 50s, from the jukebox to the checkered tables. Broadway Cafe has been an institution since before my time in Saskatoon, mainly because of consistently good (and good-sized) portions and cheerful, familiar, service. The room is starting to show signs of age (despite efforts, such as new flooring) and the pricing is DEFINITELY modern (of you know what I mean). This is also a very traditional 50s Cafe, so don't expect much innovation, just specialization

Unique atmosphere that chains like Pink Cadillac try and fail at. Food is ok, not great, but not bad. Prices are maybe a little high for the quality but the atmosphere and location make up for it. Staff is very friendly. Best milkshakes in town.

Beautiful American Style cafe! I felt I was in a 50s movie but with modern food. The service was very good, fast and caring. The decoration of the place is awesome, with a very comfy environment and familiar. Kids friendly and although is always packed it is quiet and peaceful. The food was fresh and delicious and the menu is very diverse and affordable. Highly recommended place!

Came here for breakfast on my way out of town. Not only did my picky toddler enjoy her meal but the adult meals were excellent as well. Was very busy but the wait was well worth the meal.

The Broadway Cafe is an absolutely wonderful little restaurant with fantastic service, a pleasant atmosphere, and a whole mess of delicious diner food options at very reasonable prices. Definitely one of my favorite restaurants in town!

I haven't been back here for like 10 years....oh boy it's exactly the same but better becuase of the nostalgia. The meal sizes are huge and the staff was so nice. They gave me two different weird dipping sauces for my Fenech fries! Definitely have to come back here again! Thank you for continually being consistently good ☺️

The food, basic bacon & eggs was fantastic. I also really, really enjoyed the coffee. Overall, 5 out of 5 for food & staff. You can find breakfast deals cheaper around town, but not for the same quality, freshness & quantity of food. Thanks for making a basic meal into one I'll remember & good luck in 2021.

A great place to eat! My girlfriend and I popped in on Easter Monday and we were not disappointed. The service was great and fast, the food was excellent. I even had the novel experience of having to eat a hot dog with a knife and fork, just because there was so much there, in the way of topping etc. My girlfriend had the mushroom burger and said it was one of the best burgers she has ever had. The decor is in a 1950's esq theme and really brings character to the place. I would definitely recommend this place and will almost certainly be coming back.

Broadway Café is a staple of our Saskatoon community. I've been going here for food since I was a little kid and they've always served up delicious food. With a cozy, airy atmosphere and friendly staff you'd be hard-pressed to leave in a worse mood than when you got there. Only downside is there is commonly a wait for a table but the wait is worth it.

The theme of this restaurant is very unique, certainly worth a visit! The various Manroe and Elvis decor draws in the whole family. As far as meal recommendations go, the Hawaiian burger is very delicious. ( I certainly wouldn’t suggest taking it to-go because the pineapple slice makes the burger soggy) There are times when the service leaves something to be desired and waiting for a table can be cumbersome. Overall, still very nice place.

Broadway Cafe is a great little restaurant. Nostalgic 1950's cafe, black & white checked floors with pictures of Marilyn Monroe, James Dean & Elvis plastered all over every wall. The food is good, burgers and fries are the staples, but they have a very good selection on their menu. They are open for breakfast, lunch and supper. You have got to try their old fashion thick shakes. This place is great for everyone of all ages.

Great food and a nice change from some of the classy/hip joints that seem to always spring up. During COVID, their phone service after you show up and get on the waiting list is a nice touch. Allows you to walk Broadway while you wait for a seat. Time flew by.

I love the Broadway cafe but boy, some of the prices are absurd. The staff is always crazy friendly, super accommodating and obviously focused on making their customers happy. As far as quality and service go, it’s pretty tough to think of a restaurant that beats these guys out. I can’t honestly think of a time that the food hasn’t been top notch. And then you catch a glimpse of the price of two eggs on the side and think...doesn’t 3 dozen go for about that in the store? I mean, there’s premium and then there’s that. Almost $10 for two eggs on the side is kind of over the top, and that’s not the only menu item like that. The mains aren’t priced too badly for the most part and the coffee is...mmm!...perfect!! But tread carefully when ordering if the bill is at all important to you.

When it arrived we literally gasped in excitement. Cheesy...yes, but true. I'm a mushroom burger fan and this one was the best I've ever had. Fresh mushrooms, swiss cheese, soft bun and well seasoned burger. In addition, our server Coralie was delightful. She was knowledgeable, prompt and sweet. beautiful

All day breakfast! And it's always great. Love the Retro atmosphere and appreciate the knowledgeable and helpful staff. They carry a great selection of other Diner favourites. Burgers, sandwiches, soup and salads. They also carry a great selection of larger meals as well. This place is also ideal for individuals as they have bar stool seating at the counter. Also great for a cup of coffee and a piece of pie.

The food and service were both very good and I loved the retro 50's atmosphere. I ordered the liver and onions and the first thing that impressed me was that my meal came with a salad. That's awesome as not a lot of places include a salad anymore. It was a proper salad as well, not a little bit of lettuce and piece of tomato with a thimble full of dressing like you seem to get at a lot of places these days. The potatoes and gravy were also very good and so was the liver, despite being slightly overcooked. Broadway Cafe is a great little place and I highly recommend it.

Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is one of a kind in Saskatoon and the food is phenomenal! But Dad and I went there for breakfast around noon and the place was fairly busy. I wasn't timing it, but I'm pretty sure it was less than 5 minutes from the time we ordered to when our food came to the table. It was hot and perfect! Prices are great, staff is friendly, and with it being right on Broadway, it is situated perfectly. No wonder they've been around for 39 years!
