My boyfriend and others had raved about this place and we finally made it out. Service was great and though they were busy, we didn’t have to wait very long to get seated. So much to pick from the menu- I went with the fajitas and it was SO good! Server even packed us extra sauce to take home with us (honestly, they need to bottle that and sell it!). Space has lots of seating and atmosphere is great for a casual outing. You will leave with berh happy bellies!

Excellent food and decorations. If you plan to eat here, please tip big otherwise, the waiter will come back and ask for it. She will point out they deserve it. Make a long face while you are leaving.

August 8, 2021 Excellent Mexican restaurant. The menu is expansive, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is welcoming. There's a nice patio that helps with the ambience. The service was excellent. Highly reccomend this restaurant.

Ordered the Mexican Flag, which is 3 enchiladas (one chicken, one beef, and one bean) with rice, refried beans, and a small bit (couple spoonfuls, maybe) of a vegetable mix. That last thing wasn't really a salad (far too small for that) it was more accurately a flavorful addition to the plate. Very cilantro-y. Food here is reliably tasty. I won't give it a rating, except to say that I enjoy it and keep coming back. I would describe the atmosphere as relaxed and pleasantly noisy. Mixed age crowd. May only complaint is that it recall portions being larger. However, i have barely left the house in two years, so who ever knows if that's accurate. Always enjoy going. Will return.

Fantastic flavors, inexpensive, and great speedy service. I strongly recommend the Club Burrito! The apple caramel cast-iron dessert is decadent and perfect for autumn! The margaritas are good too.

Love Feleenas, great food and great server Cassandra! My partners first time eating there & wasn't prepared for spicy. She had a few bites said it was delicious but wasn't couldn't eat the rest. Cassandra did not charge fir that meal. Wow! My meal was absolutely fantastic, I'm used to a little heat. Well be back because of that kind gesture by Cassandra!👍👍

Place is cute and has great ambiance. I'd say food is not 100% Mexican, but it was tasty anyways. Maybe Toronto spoiled my Mexican heart with amazing food, but I'd still give this place a 5-star A for effort OK rating.

I just arrived here for my first time. Have lived in Ottawa and surrounding area all my life, and haven't eaten here. Not sure how that happened. Incredible atmosphere. Fantastic service. My margarita just arrived and it's absolutely perfect. Tbh it may be the best one in the city. Haven't even had my main yet and this place is getting five stars. Atmosphere, service, fantastic Mexican food. Thank you. Will be back. Oh - and order the Guacamole 🥑🥑🥑 appetizer - amazing. Main has arrived - the Clyde Burrito. Completely off the charts good. Slightly spicy, may be one of the best mexican dishes I've had in Ottawa in some time. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, family run business with friendly service and great Mexican food. Always used to go here when I lived in the neighborhood. Went to Feleena’s tonight and while there was a bit of a service issue, they went above and beyond to make it right. Thanks so much, and we’ll be back soon.

An excellent Mexican restaurant. Staffs are very polite, accommodating and professional. The interiors are beautifully decorated and they have curious painted furniture pieces. The menu is quite extensive and includes excellent choices. We also tried their sangria which was very good. Definitely recommend their deep fried ice creams. It is not a low price restaurant but you pay for high quality food and excellent service.

Seeing the world In a different way

If you really want the best mexican food in town then you must go to Feleena's at 742 Bank st in the Glebe. I love their beef burritos, margaritas and their staff's friendly service. The restaurant's colourful decorations and background spanish music makes for great evenings when you are out on a date or get togethers with friends. It also has a nice deck area outside to eat, drink and chill the afternoon away. If you like my reviews, photos or videos give them a thumbs up. Adios amigos.

Love this place so much. The owners are always around and working. They're super friendly and involved. The food is quite good. I order the chimichanga here almost every time. It's heaven. The prices are good, the drinks are delicious, it's one of my favorite ottawa spots.

I really liked the decor and atmosphere of this restaurant. The staff is lively and really nice. The portions are very nice as well. The chicken and tortilla for my meal didn't taste the freshest but otherwise the rest of the food was great. There's tons of space for groups of people and didn't seem crazy busy. Just be on the lookout for parking. Parking in the Glebe area is few and far between so that's kind of a given.

One of my favourite restaurants… the margaritas are so good, patio is great, service is friendly, and of course food is amazing. My favourites are the regular nachos & chicken fajitas.

Nice dining spot for Mexican Good food and colourful decor. There have been times when service was slow, and other times when service was on point. The owner is polite and greets his guests with warmth. There are all sorts of typical Mexican foods you'll be able to find here: burritos, enchiladas, nachos...the basic stuff that are probably ripping off authentic Mexican cuisine. I was disappointed that mole wasn't on the menu. Mains are normally overloaded with cheese, which is not very Mexican at all. In any case, the fare for food is good, and the menu would be great if 80% of the menu didn't have cheese.

Excellent experience. Lovely decour, friendly staff and fun atmosphere. Margaritas here are very good and super cold! Reasonable prices and service is on point. A touch too much sodium, and flavour profiles could be more pronounced, especially as everything is in season right now. It would have been nice to have salsa and warmed chips while waiting for entrées. Excellent location with plenty of parking on side streets. Outside Patio is super nice , however, it is Bank street so there are plenty of cars, traffic noises and smells. A lovely Spanish restaurant with creative and authentic decour. #localguide

It’s been too long since earlier days with weekly stops at this Mexican food restaurant. Today ordered one of their special nachos to pick up. Ready after 10 minutes at the door and perhaps even more delicious and satisfying than before the pandemic, complete with green sauce and sour cream servings. A well done to all staff, kitchen and front line.

I went finally went to try this restaurant yesterday after walking by for the last two years. The location is divided in two with funky chairs that have been painted to fit within the decor. We ate during lunch and were offered both the lunch and dinner menu. While my partner and I were hungrier we selected from the dinner menu while our friends selected from the lunch menu. For a supplement of $6 compared to the lunch special, we expected to receive a bigger portion than our friends however it ended up being the opposite. The server only came once to our table and whil we arrived at the restaurant around 12:50 no one came to see us to place our orders before 1:15 and our meals finally arrived at 1:50. Upon receiving the meals, we asked for hot sauce which was not provided and after waiting for ten minutes for said hot sauce; I took upon myself to grab them from the bar. The food was good overall but the experience was tarnished by a lacklustre service.

I’ve never had a bad meal here. The staff are always super helpful and friendly. Our server, Meredith, was attentive, super friendly, and obviously goes above and beyond for her patrons. The entire staff is amazing - as you can see by the insert in their menus. It’s such a homey atmosphere, and Clyde is so welcoming that no one ever feels out of place here. I work close-by and come here by myself sometimes; a perfect Marg to end the day is always a welcome sight. Thank you for being consistently wonderful!!

The food here is always flavorful and delicious and you can't go wrong with any dish, but the real draw is the vibrant and intricate artwork that covers every surface of the restaurant. Unique, hand painted chairs with Mexican themed images and designs. Bursts of rainbow in the glass and bead art that hangs everywhere. Every wall inside and out is decorated with fabulous murals and gorgeous details. The love and work that had gone into this restaurant is incredible!

Feleena's is a popular place to sit with a drink and chat and nibble in non-COVID times. I think that much of their allure might be in their decor, vibe, friendly service, and probably their cocktails. However as a takeout service the food was just ok. It was uniformly bland, though serving sizes were generous. The owners have tended towards comfort food rather than more interesting/challenging fare that should be possible for Mexican food and spices. Hot sauce can only take you so far. The ordering and pickup process was smooth and cheerful.

The service was fast and friendly. Loved the chairs - each uniquely painted. Overall, this restaurant is both quirky and cozy in terms of its atmosphere. Washroom was not the cleanest when I was there though. Would go again!
